New position for industry stalwart
Congratulations to John Binney, who has been promoted to National Sales Manager for Alpha with immediate effect. He fills the gap left by Jerry Studden, who took up the appointment of Managing Director in September.
John, who joined us in November 1998 as an Area Sales Manager, has been Regional Sales Manager for the North of England and Scotland since the middle of 2006.
He previously spent 18 years at British Gas, serving an initial five year apprenticeship, followed by a further six years as a qualified heating engineer. For the remaining seven years John took on his first sales role, selling central heating systems to homeowners.
Responsible for Alpha’s sales operation to installers and merchants, John will have a total of ten Technical Sales Managers reporting into him.
Having worked in the heating industry for so long, we know John has many friends, who we’re sure will join us in wishing him the greatest of success in his new role.
