Checks are carried out daily on random samples of finished products, repeating the checks that were previously performed on every single boiler during the assembly stage. In a specific laboratory, specialist personnel test boilers every day with nothing left to chance – even down to the technical documentation and packaging.

Arguably, no heating appliance manufacturer does more than Alpha to protect the livelihoods of legitimate boiler installers and the safety of the general public. This work includes a number of measures to prevent engineers from operating illegally.

The Gas Safe Register superseded the CORGI Gas Registration scheme on 1 April 2009. All gas engineers must subsequently be Gas Safe registered in order to carry out gas work legally. Homeowners should always insist on seeing an installer’s Gas Safe ID card prior to having any gas work carried out.
