Embracing the future of heating

As the demand for renewable heating solutions grows, we’re committed to developing and promoting greener technologies and the benefits of switching away from fossil fuels and taking on a more environmentally conscious lifestyle.

For example, the E-Tec Hybrid is a packaged boiler (hydrogen ready up to 20%) and heat pump solution that offers an ideal first step into low-carbon heating for those unable to take a heat-pump only route.

Alternatively, the Alpha Hydro is an air source heat pump paired with a 200 litre cylinder and Smartech control, providing a highly efficient renewable heating solution.

We’re also keen to make the transition to renewables easier for heating engineers, offering regular installer training sessions up and down the country as well as a free commissioning service to help installers master the art of renewables with their first heat pump or hybrid installations.

World-class expertise

As part of the Immergas family, Alpha products are manufactured in some of the most advanced production facilities in the world. Based in Brescello, Italy only a few yards away from where the company was founded in 1964, Immergas now has 13 production lines and over 600 employees.

Crucially, the team includes 60 R&D experts and engineers who are continuously developing and testing new solutions at Immergas’ 2,500m² dedicated research facility. A particular emphasis is placed on pioneering renewable technologies in accordance with Immergas’ ‘Green Approach’ philosophy and, alongside the University of Pisa, the team has been investigating solutions to help reduce waste and the impact of heating systems on the environment.

Still family owned to this day, Immergas has a presence in 50 countries around the world and has manufactured more than 8 million boilers. Thanks to significant investment from Immergas, Alpha is set to play a key role in the switch to renewable heating solutions in the UK.
