Alpha has been proud to support solv Group on their successful journey to achieving MCS accreditation – a key milestone that underlines their commitment to quality and customer confidence in renewable heating solutions.
Working closely with solv throughout the process, Kenny Henderson, Renewable Product Manager for Alpha, provided step-by-step guidance on registration, site surveys, system design and documentation. He also assisted during installation and supported the final inspection alongside OFTEC, helping solv reach this important accreditation.
MCS accreditation plays a vital role in the transition to low-carbon heating. It not only assures customers of high installation standards but also opens the door for homeowners to access government incentives that make renewable technologies, such as heat pumps, more accessible.
Heat pumps play a central role in the UK’s drive to reach Net Zero, and Alpha is committed to helping installers make the transition. Alongside hands-on support, Alpha has also partnered with Q-Smart to offer an MCS Umbrella Scheme – designed specifically for smaller installation companies and individual installers who may not have the resources to achieve full MCS accreditation and certification independently.
By offering multiple pathways into the renewables sector, Alpha intends to enable more installers to enter the heat pump market with confidence, while maintaining the robust quality standards that customers expect.
