As part of our ongoing investment in top-tier customer service and technical support, Alpha is excited to welcome two new members to our national sales team: James Kester and Annette Murphy.
These new appointments reflect Alpha’s continued commitment to building strong, lasting relationships with installers and customers, while ensuring personalised, local support from experienced professionals who understand our products inside and out.
James joins Alpha with a strong background in merchant sales and a passion for connecting with installers. Now covering the East Anglia region, James brings valuable experience in face-to-face customer engagement.
“It’s definitely a fresh challenge, but I’m still talking and engaging with installers on a daily basis so there’s that familiarity,” James commented. “I’ve already been visiting merchants to introduce myself to both the staff and their customers. I love it as it’s like a taste of my old career but I’m able to help from a completely different standpoint.”
With over eight years of experience in the plumbing and heating industry, Annette is no stranger to the sector. Her new role focuses on working closely with installers across Kent and parts of London, a shift she’s welcomed with enthusiasm.
“My previous role was becoming more focused on the retail side of the business, which isn’t something that I enjoy. I’ve always preferred working with installers and that’s something I could focus on by joining the Alpha team. When I started my new job search, the reviews I came across for Alpha had always been positive, both for its products and its work culture.”
Both James and Annette have already been getting stuck into their roles, actively taking part in events across their respective regions, from meeting with installers and merchant staff to hosting breakfast mornings and attending trade events.
“It’s exciting meeting all of the new customers,” continued Annette. “Being involved in the breakfast mornings, and local events have helped me to gain valuable face-to-face time with installers. I want to make sure I’m giving the best possible service to my customers.”
