Yes, Alpha boilers incorporate a built-in frost thermostat. This automatically turns on the boiler and pump if the water in the boiler falls below a temperature of 5°C, provided the electrical supply is on. This function ensures that the boiler will continue to operate until the water temperature in the system boiler reaches approximately 40°C.
