What do the lights mean on the front of the boiler?

It can be frustrating when there are warning lights on the front of the boiler and you don’t know what they mean. That is why we have produced an online troubleshooter tool so you can instantly understand the fault type and find solutions to the problems.
To use the tool, select your boiler from the dropdown list which includes our current range and our most popular older models. You will then see a simulation of the coloured lights on the control panel for that model and a diagnosis for the type of light behaviours you are seeing ie. on, off or flashing.
In some cases, there are self-help steps that you can carry out. In other cases, a service call to a qualified Gas Safe Registered engineer may be necessary.
