Alpha launches new App for installers

1 July 2015

Alpha Heating Innovation has recently launched a new App for installers. Currently available for Apple and Android devices, the new software makes it even easier for installers to register their customers’ boilers, which is key to ensuring that customers’ warranties are valid.

Two years ago, Alpha introduced the ability to register products with Alpha and GasSafe at the same time via its 3rd party notification scheme on its website. Taking this to the next level, the company’s new tool makes this registration process even easier by allowing installers to complete registration while ‘on the go’. To complement this feature, the app includes a ‘Scan Barcode’ capability to further reduce registration time.

Focused on speed and simplicity, the App has also been developed to give installers key information right at their fingertips including a history of registered installations as well as a ‘Parts Database’ section, allowing users to keep track of registered and unregistered products. For a quick and easy way to contact Alpha’s customer service team, the app also has both a contact form and a ‘Contact Us’ button linked to a hotline number for a rapid response.

Catherine Lawrence commented, “We think it is so important to help our installers work more efficiently. By providing a way to register products ‘on the go’, it gives customers peace of mind and allows installers more time to focus on the job at hand.”

To download the app, look for Alpha Innovation in the App Store, Google Play or Windows Phone store.
