Alpha on the road

Alpha on the road

OIP Static Caravan Services, based in West Yorkshire, has utilised Alpha Heating Innovation’s smallest model, the Evoke 28kW, for its range of specially built amenity blocks and caravan installation services. The combi gas boiler was chosen for its simple installation, five-year guarantee and compatibility with LPG gas.

The smallest combi boiler in the Alpha range, the Evoke fits easily into a standard kitchen cupboard and features a stainless steel heat exchanger for optimal reliability. With both 28kW and 33kW outputs available, the Evoke is the ideal model for small to medium homes, or in this case static caravans, which have smaller hot water and heating demands.

Simon Turfrey, Managing Director of OIP has used Alpha boilers in his units for a number of years, on both retrofit static caravan heating systems and also within the toilet and shower blocks manufactured on site by OIP, which travel around the country for events. Simon commented, “Alpha offers a great guarantee on its products and the systems are always easily fitted and set up by our installers. Alpha also offers an excellent commissioning service if our customers require servicing and boiler care.”

Dave Wray, Sight Field Engineer at OIP and trainee installer, has helped install many of the heating systems at OIP, including upwards of 25 Alpha Evoke boilers. He commented, “The fact that there is an LPG version of the Evoke boiler available makes them ideal for our units as they all run on LPG. Converting other systems can be incredibly time consuming so finding a LPG system that fulfils the other requirements of our units has been fantastic. We are always recommending Alpha systems to friends and colleagues as the price and warranty options are excellent and the after sales provided is also incredibly helpful.”

Offering a variety of services since 1993, OIP offers to renovate, glaze and roof static caravans as well as manufacturing its own toilet and shower blocks for the camping and events market.
