Alpha has launched a new campaign to raise awareness of its combination boiler range. The ‘a real boiler’ campaign, which will run throughout the winter, will begin with a television advert that will air across multiple Freeview channels in the run up to Christmas.
The advert premieres on More4 on 15th December during The Supervet at Christmas, and shows the story of an animated Alpha boiler on the journey to its new home and how heating can bring a home to life. To find out more, viewers will be directed to a dedicated website where they can watch again, find their local installer from Alpha’s network and request a free information and children’s activity pack. The pack contains an overview of the Alpha range alongside a poster, crayons and a story book of the boiler’s journey. Installers can also request these packs to give to customers who are considering a new boiler and want to know more.
The product element of the campaign centres on the Alpha range of domestic combi boilers. This includes the compact, powerful and flexible E-Tec and E-Tec Plus as well as the Alpha Connect wireless thermostat, which allows heating to be controlled from anywhere on any smartphone or tablet.
The Alpha E-Tec range of compact combi boilers includes models from 28kw to 38kw, with LPG versions available for off-grid properties. Both the E-Tec and E-Tec Plus feature a stainless-steel heat exchanger and a zinc-plated expansion vessel for a high level of long term corrosion resistance. The boilers also include a high-efficiency Grundfos Pump and Hydroblock alongside a Honeywell Gas Valve and PCB. The E-Tec and E-Tec Plus come with 7 and 10 year warranties respectively with this increased to 9 and 13 years when installed with the PremierPack Pro for the E-Tec or the PremierPack Extra for the E-Tec Plus.
The Alpha Connect wireless thermostat allows simple control of the heating directly from any iOS or Android device using the Alpha Connect app. Homeowners can customise their system’s settings based on their preferences and create a heating schedule with ease. It also features geolocation fencing capabilities that can offer a reminder to check the heating and adjust the schedule if necessary when they leave the house.
