A new Alpha Heating Innovation combi boiler has been selected as the prize for the winner of a recent Facebook competition held by local contractor The Inverclyde Boiler Company. The Evoke 33kW model was provided free of charge to meet the hot water demands for the homeowner’s extended property in Greenock, Scotland.
The Inverclyde Boiler Company recently held a competition where each entrant had the opportunity to receive a new boiler at absolutely no cost. With the live draw taking place on the company’s Facebook page, homeowner Wesley Brolls was announced as the winner of the new heating system.
Located in Greenock, Wesley’s property had recently undergone an extension, which required additional hot water output to cover the newly-installed shower and radiators. In order to easily manage and adjust the heating around the home, a smart control was also required.
As such, Alpha’s Evoke 33kW combi boiler was selected by the contractor as the ideal solution. Supplied from a local plumbing merchant, the Evoke 33kW model was installed along with an Alpha Connect, the company’s smart controller, to enable Wesley to adjust the new boiler to the optimal settings.
“Over the last couple of years, we have developed a strong relationship with Alpha Heating Innovation and regularly select the company’s boilers,” commented Shayne Stride, Director of The Inverclyde Boiler Company. “Alpha’s range of combi boilers are incredibly easy to install. The Evoke 33kW was selected for the prize in this instance due to its higher domestic hot water and central heating outputs, which would help to meet the increased demands from the new facilities in the property’s extension.”
The Evoke range will meet the needs of most homes and its compact size makes it is an ideal option to fit into kitchen cupboards. Front access to parts also makes servicing straightforward. The 33kW model has domestic hot water and central heating outputs of 32.0 and 29.7 kW respectively with a flow rate of 14.1 litres per minute. It comes with a seven-year warranty as standard.
