Richard Eldridge returns to Alpha as Regional Sales Manager

2 October 2024

Alpha is pleased to announce the return of Richard Eldridge as Regional Sales Manager for the southern region.

Richard first joined the company in 2012 as a Sales Coordinator, based in the Kent head office and working closely with the field sales team. Despite having no prior sales experience, Richard proved to be adept at fostering positive relationships with customers and colleagues alike.

By 2014 Richard was keen to put his skills to the test and successfully applied for the position of Area Sales Manager for London, before later taking on Kent and Sussex. He flourished in the role and as well as earning a strong reputation in the areas he was responsible for, he delivered and surpassed the sales growth he was targeted to achieve.

After six-years at Alpha, Richard pursued a career opportunity at HPS Plumbers Merchant, where his role spanned five businesses across the south coast and focused on driving sales with new business and ensuring an enjoyable customer experience.

During this time Richard remained a loyal advocate for the Alpha brand. Commenting on his re-appointment, Richard said: “Returning to Alpha at such an exciting period for the business is great timing. There is so much happening around heat pumps and hybrid systems, plus we have a fantastic boiler range, meaning there is plenty Alpha has to offer all customer groups including installers, developers, housing associations and merchants.

“I’m thrilled to be working with the amazing team at Alpha again and in particular looking forward to bringing all my experience together to help us collectively create more awareness and continue Alpha’s growth in the industry.”

Andrea Carmeli, Managing Director for Alpha, commented: “We’re delighted to welcome Richard back to Alpha as Regional Sales Manager. Early in his career he proved himself to be a valuable addition to the sales team, both in his office-based role and out on the road. I’m excited to see where he takes the team now in a leadership role.”
