On Barden Drive in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, Sites for Investment Ltd has developed 23 houses aimed at providing cost effective housing in the local area. Each custom-built home includes an Alpha Evoke boiler, to ensure the greatest level of comfort in the home while providing optimum efficiency.
Sites for Investment Ltd is a custom build company supported by The Homes and Communities Agency. This development is particularly aimed at providing cost effective housing to local residents of south Yorkshire. The custom build nature of the scheme allows each buyer to have an input into the finished look of their home. Therefore, no two properties on the site appear the same. In a time where affordability in housing is at the forefront, this project is a great template for other schemes.
Neil Yapp, Project Manager from Sites For Investment Ltd commented: “I contacted various plumbers’ merchants and I was introduced to Alpha. Jonathan Hanby from Alpha explained everything so clearly to me, and we found that the Evoke was the perfect boiler to meet our needs. As a Project Manager, it’s my responsibility to source every product. Alpha’s support was excellent, and for me, it was a completely straightforward and worry-free experience.”
The Evoke is the newest and smallest addition to Alpha’s range of combi boilers, which features a brand new stainless-steel heat exchanger and two separate outputs. It is compact and fits neatly in small spaces, but it still has the ability to deliver 14.1 litres of water per minute.
Moreover, Lee Williams from Love Your Boiler, the installer for this project, further commented: “From an installer’s perspective, the inside of the Evoke is easy to maintain and service. It’s also handy for the installer that the pressure relief and condensate are linked internally.
“The Evoke is a great choice for the development on Barden Drive, thanks to its compact nature making best use of space. I’ve not used Alpha often before, but I was very impressed by their excellent customer service and support.”
