Stanton Estates has built properties for many years and recently decided to move into building houses to rent, rather than sell. Long-term reliability is a key requirement for the central heating systems installed into the properties and so the developer made the decision to switch from their previous manufacturer to installing boilers from Alpha Heating Innovation instead.
The developer builds two and three-bedroom semi-detached properties, along with three and four bedroom detached homes throughout the Long Eaton area of Nottingham. They picked Alpha because of the manufacturer’s strong reputation for reliability and have now fitted Alpha’s boilers in more than 90 of their rental properties in the area.
Michelle Alliott, Office Manager of Stanton Estates, said: “We chose Alpha’s boilers because of the extended warranty they offer, which is a real benefit because we own the properties and any repairs are down to us. The warranty helps protect us against that.”
Over the years, Stanton Estates have fitted a number of different Alpha boilers in their rental properties, but as new products have been launched, and to get the maximum benefit of an extended warranty, they now fit the Alpha boilers as standard, along with the PremierPack.
Alpha’s PremierPack wall-mounting jig enables a quicker, easier and neater installation for engineers, with split flow tails for piping from above, a pipe clip plate with variable fixing points and a pipe cover tray. It also incorporates the Alpha Cyclone Plus magnetic filter, which removes debris from the heating system, reducing the risk of damage to the boiler. Alpha adds up to three years additional warranty to the boiler if installed with a PremierPack, depending on the model.
Michelle commented: “We always fit Alpha’s boilers with a PremierPack jig because it’s a lot neater to look at, and also gives us the extended warranty.
