Alpha and DD Wilson Gas Engineers donate and install a new boiler at Carla Lane Animals in Need, helping the Merseyside centre stay warm and running.
Surely nothing warms the heart more than knowing the nation’s neglected animals are in the safe hands of a homely, hospitable rescue centre?
Rescuing, rehoming, and rehabilitating both domestic and farm animals in Merseyside, Carla Lane Animals in Need has been a staple of its community for the past 40 years. Entirely donation-funded and driven by volunteers, the sanctuary works tirelessly to give unwanted animals a second chance at life.
With such strong community ties, it only seemed right to lend a helping hand when the centre’s aging boiler broke down. Working alongside long-time partner DD Wilson Gas Engineers, Alpha Heating Innovation donated a brand-new boiler from its E-Tec range to supply the site with reliable heating and hot water. DD Wilson generously handled the installation free of charge.
“The centre does so much for the animals,” said Darren Wilson, owner of DD Wilson and a loyal supporter of the sanctuary. “All profits from the dog boarding kennels go straight back into rescue and rehoming efforts. Because the sanctuary is so giving, I wanted to be equally as helpful. Alpha and my other suppliers made this possible.”
With a 7-year warranty and a proven track record for performance and energy efficiency, the E-Tec boiler will provide dependable comfort to both staff and the centre’s many furry residents for years to come.
Alpha’s contribution to this project is part of a wider commitment to supporting community-based initiatives, particularly those making a direct, positive impact. From local charities to sustainability efforts, Alpha believes in giving back wherever possible.
Alpha is proud to have played a small but meaningful part in a story of compassion, community, and kindness.
