Tingdene Homes, based in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, has utilised two of Alpha Heating Innovation’s range of combi boiler models, the E-Tec 28 and InTec 40GS2, for its high-quality residential park homes and holiday lodges. Selected for their competitive price, LPG compatibility and length of warranty, the two models have also brought additional benefits with regards to footprint and efficiency.
One of the UK’s leading manufacturers of high-quality park homes and holiday lodges, Tingdene Homes has been installing Alpha boilers in its units for last 18 months.
For its smaller standard units, Tingdene Homes installs Alpha’s most compact combi boiler, the E-Tec, which is available in both 28kW and 33kW models. Fitted easily into a standard kitchen cupboard, the E-Tec provides the optimum solution for homes that have a low level of hot water and heating demand. Featuring a stainless-steel heat exchanger for optimal reliability, the E-Tec comes with a 5-year warranty as standard, which can be increased to 7 years with the addition of a PremierPack Pro. Furthermore, the new E-Tec Plus range offers a 7-year warranty as standard, which can be increased to 10 years when fitted with a PremierPack Extra.
Tingdene Homes also recommends the larger InTec 40GS2 combi boiler for park homes fitted with a hot tub, as it can supply hot water at a faster rate to meet this additional demand. With built-in flue gas heat recovery, the InTec 40GS2 is also specified by Tingdene Homes for its ability to reduce fuel bills and increase efficiency, providing a 35% reduction in gas used to provide hot water, a key selling point when a higher hot water requirement is necessary.
A further selling point is that both Alpha boilers can be easily converted to run on LPG, a necessity at certain park and holiday home locations.
Tingdene Homes uses a team of in-house installers who operate as part of the park home production line, producing an output of around 400 parks homes and holiday lodges per year.
