Alpha Heating Innovation has launched details its 2011 installer training.

Available at four locations across the UK, the mixture of one and two day courses help installers hone their skills and build on existing knowledge. The training covers commissioning, servicing and diagnostics on their high efficiency boiler range.

Training ranges from a free, one-day High Efficiency and Renewables course to a two-day, CITB Unvented G3 course at centres in Birmingham, Stirling, Bolton and Kent.

In addition, Alpha Heating Innovation is offering a BPEC Solar course, which has been developed in conjunction with the Solar Trade Association. Designed for experienced heating engineers and plumbers the course explores all aspects of solar domestic hot water systems. Lasting two days, this course includes theory, practical and assessment.

The BPEC Solar course covers the majority of systems installed in the UK, with consideration given to the different system configurations, components and operating characteristics. Completing this course will enable candidates to get onto housing association and local council lists of accredited installers.
