Matt Hobbs has recently been appointed as the new Technical Director for Alpha Heating Innovation, bringing over twenty years of experience in the gas heating industry to his new role.

Starting out in 1989 as an apprentice gas service engineer with British Gas South Eastern, Matt has worked in many different positions across the heating industry. He has previous experience in technical and service management with large heating contractors, boiler manufacturing as well as heading up the gas and mechanical engineering departments within the social housing sector. With a keen eye for the technical aspects of the industry and a real passion for delivering excellent customer service we are very pleased to have him aboard.

Matt commented, “With my previous experience across a number of different aspects within the heating industry, I feel I can bring a real breadth of beneficial experience to Alpha. I want to ensure that distributors, installers and consumers are happy, focusing my efforts initially on technical support and service delivery, and in time, also focus on product development to ensure Alpha continues to lead the way.”
