TV DEBUT FOR ALPHA EMPLOYEE ON BBC3

30 November 2010

The spotlight is on one particular Alpha employee this evening as she makes her TV debut as a contestant on the BBC3 show Young Plumber of the Year.

Aimee Patterson

23 year old Wiltshire-based Aimee Patterson is a Technical Sales Manager. She was involved in the heating industry for four years prior to joining Alpha in March 2009. During this time she qualified as a heating engineer, going on to gain experience installing and maintaining domestic and commercial heating systems. As well as helping secure a position at Alpha, this has obviously set her up well for her latest starring role.

Facing Aimee on tonight’s show will be a series of tough challenges as she goes head to head with three other finalists for the title of BBC Young Plumber of the Year. Show host George Lamb puts contestants through their paces with the help of two industry experts – Charlie Mullins, founder of Pimlico Plumbing and plumbing ace Chris Young.

We hope you’ll join us all at Alpha in wishing Aimee the very best of luck.

First showing of Young Plumber of the Year is on BBC3 Tuesday 30th November at 10.30pm. It is repeated on Thursday 2nd December at 8pm.
